The questions.
I ask. You answer. I send a written read-out within 48 hours. Six questions, in this order:
- What is the strategic outcome that matters most for you this year?
- Which AI initiatives are running right now, and where is each one in its lifecycle?
- If one of those hit production in 90 days, which would be most valuable? What is keeping it from being there today?
- Who owns your operating cadence today, the one that reviews AI progress weekly?
- What has failed before: consulting engagement, transformation, AI pilot, anything?
- What is your board asking that you cannot yet answer?
If any are off-limits, tell me at the start and I'll swap. You'll get the read-out within 48 hours regardless of what comes next.
What you won't get.
- No slide deck. No pitch. No "let me get back to you with a proposal in two weeks."
- If we are not a fit, I will say so, and point you to who is.
- If we are a fit, I send a one-page Phase 1 scope note in the same email as the read-out.
